Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July everyone, this weekend has been packed full with family time.

This is my cousin Zach from Minnesota, he's awesome.  He has more range in emotion that anyone I know, he can go from super excited to super scared in 1.5 seconds and I captured some of that during his fishing adventure.

We walked down to go finishing in my Aunt's pond and this shot captures how excited he was to fish.

Then he didn't want to touch the fishing pole.

But after a 30 second pep talk he was off fishing.

Then 45 seconds later a blue gill is caught!

Now I asked Zach to take his picture with his fish.

Ok time for round two!  It's a big one!

Ah run, it's a bass!

It's going to eat me!

I don't like to fish anymore!

Who would have thought a "Cars" fishing pole would get this kind of catch.

But after throwing the fish back into the pond, the smiles came out.

And the rocker face.

However, credit goes to my cousin Tiffany for her only, but biggest catch of the day.  Nice work Tiff.

Happy 4th to everyone, and thank you to all the troops - be safe.

And one final shoot from the 2011 Pittsburgh Marathon of the soldiers there.

First post!

Hello everyone!
This is my first official post on the new blog, now onto the photos.  The photos below were from a recent shoot with Jo Lynn, a really great and upcoming model.  For the strobist fans, almost all photos were taken with a 47" octabox camera left powered by a single Einstein strobe.
